Drone operators should exercise extreme caution if operating within 1 mile of Lyveden Airfield. 

Departing and arriving gliders routinely fly below 500 ft AGL when taking off and landing, and may do so from any direction. 

Irrespective of whether you are flying as part of an organized event, you are reminded of your personal responsibility to observe Section 7 of the Drone Code which stipulates “Some smaller airfields do not have a Flight Restriction Zone but you must still not fly on or near these airfields where you could pose a danger to the safety of aircraft.
